Ekwang is a heritage dish of the Bakweri people of Buea and the surrounding Fako area. It’s made from:

• Fresh cocoyams (taro)

• Cocoyam leaves (or tender greens)

• Palm oil

• Smoked fish

• Meat or cow skin (kpomo)

• Crayfish

• Traditional spices and seasoning
